All classes have a double lesson each week playing a broad range of traditional and modified games. During the second half of term 4, students take part in a Water Safety/Surf Survival program at the Jetty beach.
SCHOOL SPORT YEARS 8 - 10
School sport is conducted every Wednesday afternoon at venues in and close to the school. In some cases, bus transport is required and this is in addition to any entrance fees that may apply.
Year 8 Sport is conducted at nearby England's Park and the Jetty oval, with students rotating through summer and winter sports in friendship groups.
Years 9 & 10 are offered a range of activities which include: surfing, fitness, beach volleyball, ten-pin bowling, ice-skating, squash, tennis, basketball, fishing, snorkelling, gym, yoga, indoor soccer and swimming.
INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITIONS
The school enters teams in the NSW CHS State Knock-outs. These mostly cater for Open Age students although there are state wide K.O competitions for U15 Soccer and Basketball.
The local Basketball Association organises school competitions for a range of age groups - these are placed out of school times.
CARNIVALS
The school holds annual carnivals in Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country with the first two occupying the whole day.
The Swimming carnival is held very early in term 1 at the Coffs Harbour Olympic pool.
The school Cross-country occurs in term 2 and it is held at the Jetty Foreshores recreation area. It is probably one of the most scenic courses any school could have - along the pier, beaches and headlands.
The annual Athletics carnival is held mid term 2 at the International Stadium.
All 3 carnivals allow talented students the opportunity to compete at zone level.
All carnivals have some fun activities and have a social atmosphere - students are encouraged to dress in house colours.
