HUMAN SOCIETY AND ITS ENVIRONMENT

The faculty was created in 2006 by merging the once separate History and Social Sciences (Geography/Commerce/Legal Studies etc) faculties.
The merger has enabled teachers with experience in a wide range of subjects to be used more effectively and not "locked into" just one teaching area.

Excursions are a key aspect of the courses and in most cases in the junior school, participation is mandatory.

Texts - conditions of loan
Textbooks are lent to senior students. It is the responsibility of the students to return the text in good condition otherwise a new replacement copy will be required.
Stapled booklets are to be returned or a $1 fee is charged.
