| Each year all Year 11 and Year 12 students will be required to pay a refundable textbook bond of $70. The bond provides a means of security for any loss or damage to textbooks issued on loan to the students.
At the end of each year the students will be asked to return their textbooks. If all textbooks are returned in good order then $50 of the textbook bond will be refunded. If any textbooks are lost or damaged the cost of replacement or repair will be deducted from the bond and the balance refunded to the student.
Year 11 students will be given the option of carrying over the $70 bond into Year 12. This will minimize the paper work and time associated with refunds and payments.
Any student who, because of financial or other significant difficulties, is unable to pay the bond will need to see the Principal who will then discuss alternative arrangements.
Students who choose not to pay the textbook bond will not be issued with their textbooks. They will, however, have access to the textbooks during school hours.
On payment of the textbook bond to the Office, students will be issued with a textbook bond card. This card can be used to obtain their textbooks from their teachers. |
